We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Squamish.
Job Summary:The Stockroom Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise in our stockroom. This includes managing inventory levels, coordinating with sales staff to ensure accurate stock levels, and maintaining a clean and organized stockroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, including receiving and processing shipments, and conducting regular stock counts.
- Coordinate with sales staff to ensure accurate stock levels and to facilitate efficient sales floor operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom environment, including receiving and processing merchandise, and ensuring that all stockroom areas are tidy and well-organized.
- Supervise and train stockroom staff to ensure they are meeting expectations and adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints, stock discrepancies, and supply chain disruptions.
- 1-2 years of experience in a stockroom or inventory management role.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
