Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Secco Hamilton. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring seamless service delivery and driving business growth.
About the Role- The successful candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, with experience in budgeting, staff supervision, and customer service.
- You will be responsible for analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and implementing strategies to boost revenue and profitability.
- Apart from monitoring daily operations, you will also oversee inventory management, ensure efficient use of resources, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and implement budgets to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies; analyze financial reports to identify areas for cost reduction.
- Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high standards of quality; conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, including ordering and receiving stock; ensure that all products are stored and rotated properly to minimize waste.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and concerns promptly and professionally; work closely with servers and other staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Marketing and Sales: Identify opportunities to increase revenue and implement strategies to drive sales growth; work closely with marketing teams to promote the restaurant and its services.
- 1-2 years of experience in restaurant management or a related field;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to motivate and lead a team;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands;
- Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (an asset).
