Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and conduct on-site surveys to assess businesses for potential loss-producing conditions
- Provide risk control reports to insurance industry clients, including recommendations to control and/or correct potential loss-producing conditions
- Manage assignments, secure customer appointments, and complete work assignments on time
About the Role:
As a Risk Control Specialist, you will work from your own home or office, servicing onsite survey/inspection assignments in the Rochester, NY area and other locations within approximately 30 miles. You will be responsible for evaluating businesses behind the scenes to identify hazards and improve safety, mitigating risk for our insurance company clients.
Requirements:
- Digital camera
- Windows-based computer with an image/document scanner
- High-speed internet access
- Reliable vehicle
- Measuring device (laser, 100 ft. tape, or measuring wheel)
- Auto and General Liability Insurance
