About the Role

Zurich Insurance Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Claims Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Investigative and Recovery Services team, you will play a critical role in evaluating legal liability and aggressively pursuing, negotiating, and resolving subrogation collections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate legal liability and aggressively pursue, negotiate, and resolve subrogation collections.
  • Communicate with insureds, witnesses, attorneys, and underwriters to obtain and provide necessary information.
  • Work within specific limits and authority on assignments of moderate technical complexity.
  • Prepare, review, and approve data input into the Loss Accounting System.
  • Handle multi-line and multi-jurisdictional losses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Insurance Industry area.
  • OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Insurance Industry area.
  • OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Insurance Industry area.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of commercial lines insurance including jurisdictional laws.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years Subrogation Insurance Industry experience.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Organization and detail-oriented skills.
