Job Summary:

Coface is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Credit Risk Underwriter to join our US Risk Underwriting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, approving credit limits, and supporting the Commercial Team to retain existing business and develop new client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough financial analysis of counterparties, utilizing sectorial and macroeconomic knowledge to inform credit decisions.
  2. Approve credit limits within individual delegation limits, taking into account policy characteristics.
  3. Collaborate with the Commercial Team to retain existing business and develop new client relationships.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field with a focus on finance, economics, or insurance.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial analysis role, with a working knowledge of the credit insurance industry.
  3. Ability to gather and analyze information from various external and internal sources, including financial statements, sector and country economic reports, and other departments' data.
