Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Analyst to join our team at Lyft. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and implementing risk models that help drive business decisions.

About the Role
  • Develop and maintain reserve studies for various segments, presenting findings to management and senior leaders.
  • Maintain documentation of key assumptions and methods to support risk controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or similar field.
  • At least 3 CAS exams completed.
  • 1-2 years of relevant internship or entry-level experience in P&C actuarial field.
  • Strong Excel skills, with experience with SQL and R (or Python) and an interest in coding/automation preferred.
  • Great communication and presentation skills.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
