As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing personalized meal plans, and educating clients on healthy eating habits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Care: Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling to clients, addressing their specific dietary needs and goals.
  • Education: Educate clients, staff, and students on healthy eating habits, nutrition therapy, and disease prevention.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Nutritional Sciences or a related field from an accredited Canadian university program or equivalent.
  • A graduate of a recognized dietetic internship program accredited by Partnership for Dietetic Education and Practice (PDEP).
  • Registration with the College of Dietitians of Manitoba and membership with the Dietitians of Canada (DC) are required.
  • CPR training certification is also necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical nutrition therapies.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with various levels of personnel, both internally and externally.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt readily to a changing environment and respond with initiative.
  • Demonstrated planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and function with minimum direction.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated at $85,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health and dental coverage, RRSP matching, and professional development opportunities.
