Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Lloyd Drug Mart & Pharmacy Clinic. As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy and clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
  • Open and distribute incoming mail and other materials
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Train staff in procedures and software
  • Complete insurance and claim forms
  • Maintain filing systems and order supplies
  • Enter and format medical reports and correspondence
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
  • Perform data entry and provide customer service
Work Environment

Our pharmacy and clinic are located in a pharmacy setting, providing a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will work closely with our healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
