Job Title: Medical Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Lloyd Drug Mart & Pharmacy Clinic. As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy and clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and staff
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Train staff in procedures and software, and complete insurance and claim forms
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, and perform data entry
  • Provide support for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youths, Veterans, Indigenous people, and mature workers
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Physical accessibility accommodations and awareness training
