Job Title: Medical Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Lloyd Drug Mart & Pharmacy Clinic.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare team, including coordinating patient information, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
  • Open and distribute incoming mail and other materials
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Train staff in procedures and software
  • Complete insurance and claim forms
  • Maintain filing systems and order supplies
  • Enter and format medical reports and correspondence
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
  • Perform data entry and provide customer service
Work Environment:

Our pharmacy clinic is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires strong communication and organizational skills.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
