We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at FortisBC.
Job Overview
FortisBC is the province's largest energy provider, delivering renewable energy to over 1.3 million customers. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop knowledge and skills in customer service processes to provide world-class experiences.
- Work to understand customer service expectations through specialized processes and channels of communication.
- Build relationships with peers and leaders through regular interactions.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A customer-centric mentality and attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to navigate multiple computer programs to support customer interactions.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to ask effective questions.
What it Means to be an Unscheduled Part-Time Regular Employee
As an Unscheduled Part-Time Regular employee, you will work variable hours, including weekends and graveyard shifts. You will be eligible for benefits after completing 975 hours of accumulated service.
Additional Information
Successful applicants will attend full-time classroom training. Attendance is mandatory during this time. This is an office-based role that requires on-site attendance.
