About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Medigroup Health Centre & Pharmacy. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting health and wellness in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medical Consultations: Conduct thorough medical consultations with patients to assess their health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Diagnostic Procedures: Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
  • Prescription and Administration: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Health Education: Provide patients with education and guidance on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.
  • Collaboration with Colleagues: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and coordinate referrals as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in family medicine or a related field.
  • Certifications: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
Work Environment
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
