About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Eaton Place Medical Centre. As a key member of our primary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consultation and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough consultations with patients to evaluate their physical and mental health, and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Medication Management: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed, and monitor patients' responses to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Patient Education: Provide patients with clear and concise information about their health, and offer guidance on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.
  • Co-ordination of Care: Work with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless co-ordination of patient care, and make referrals as necessary.
  • Acute Care Management: Provide emergency care and stabilization to patients in crisis, and work with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective treatment.
  • Counselling and Support: Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, and provide resources for coping with health-related challenges.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in family medicine or a related field.
  • Certifications: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
