About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Eaton Place Medical Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consultation and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough consultations with patients to evaluate their physical and mental health, and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Medication and Treatment: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as necessary, and provide patients with clear instructions and guidance.
  • Patient Education and Support: Offer patients advice and support on health care, and provide them with the information and resources they need to manage their health effectively.
  • Co-ordination of Care: Co-ordinate and manage primary patient care, including referrals to specialists and other healthcare services as needed.
  • Acute Care Management: Provide acute care management, including emergency response and stabilization of patients.
  • Counselling and Support: Offer counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry is required.
  • Certifications and Licenses: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities are required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in family medicine is preferred.
