Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 driver to join our team at Connors Transfer Ltd., a division of Cooke Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designated routes throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland.

Compensation Package:

  • Stellarton, Nova Scotia drivers: mileage rate - $0.48/mile, pick-up and wait time - $20.00/hour
  • Debert, Nova Scotia drivers: mileage rate - $0.50/mile, pick-up and wait time - $20.00/hour, paid switches, paid shunting incentives, weekend shunting premiums

Driver Requirements:

  • Class 1 license
  • At least 2 years truck driving experience
  • Criminal background check
  • Current drivers abstract
  • Verifiable driving experience
  • Strong communication skills - written and spoken
