We are seeking a skilled Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver to join our team at N.S. CONSTRUCTION CARRIERS LIMITED. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer truck to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer truck to transport goods and materials across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and to identify any potential issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, and brakes, to ensure the vehicle is running efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours worked, fuel consumption, and other relevant data to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Air Brakes Endorsement and other relevant certifications.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively interact with customers and resolve issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve company goals.
  • Physical stamina to withstand the demands of long hours on the road.
