Job Title:

Senior Fraud Investigation Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Fraud Investigation Manager to join our team at Manitoba Public Insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Develop and implement strategies to reduce financial risk related to fraud, negligence, or suspicious claims activity.
  • Manage Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the Special Investigations Unit department, ensuring effective and efficient investigation of claims.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data to measure department performance, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to optimize service.
  • Policy and Enforcement Advice: Provide guidance on policy and applicable law enforcement matters.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Participate in the Corporate Claims Evaluation Committee, coordinate with provincial Crown Attorney and police departments, and represent MPI on external committees.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Management, Criminology, or Related Field
  • Specialized Investigation Training
  • 8 Years of Experience in Investigations, including 5 years in a management or supervisory role
  • Insurance Industry Experience is an asset
Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience
