Role Overview

We are seeking an Investigative Specialist to join our Loss Prevention team at TJX Canada. As an Investigative Specialist, you will play a critical role in detecting, investigating, and prosecuting incidents of external fraud and organized retail crime.

About the Role

This is a challenging and dynamic position that requires strong analytical and investigative skills. You will be responsible for:

  • Detecting and investigating incidents of external fraud and organized retail crime;
  • Completing the prosecution process by reporting to police, building case reports, and attending court as required;
  • Developing effective partnerships with other loss prevention members, store management, and outside agencies;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of two years' experience as a Corporate Fraud Investigator or Internal Investigator (multi-store) or as a multi-store Loss Prevention Manager or similar experience related to investigating external fraud and organized retail theft activity;
  • A provincial security license (some provinces);
  • Proven experience with Exception Reporting System Software in a retail setting;
  • Surveillance experience;
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
