Project Cost Controller Job Description

As a key member of the ANDRITZ Hydro Canada team, the Project Cost Controller plays a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of projects. This role requires a strong understanding of financial and commercial concepts, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track and control project costs to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and deliver project reports to stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Manage project data in SAP and produce milestone invoices in accordance with project terms and conditions.
  • Forecast project cash flows and manage foreign currency transactions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and support project strategy development.
  • Prepare and follow up on change order requests, claims, and bonds.
Requirements:
  • Strong financial and commercial knowledge, with experience in project management and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Excel, with advanced knowledge of financial and commercial topics.
  • Bilingual French/English language skills.
