Project Cost Controller

As a key member of our team, the Project Cost Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects. This position requires a strong understanding of financial and commercial concepts, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track and control project costs to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Prepare and maintain project reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and manage projects in SAP, ensuring seamless integration with our financial systems.
  • Produce project milestone invoices in accordance with project terms and conditions.
  • Develop and maintain project cash flow forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Manage foreign currency transactions, including hedging and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support change management initiatives, including preparation of change order requests and claims.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring project strategy is aligned with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of financial and commercial concepts, including project management and cost control.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems, with experience in project management and cost control.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including VLOOKUP and SUMIF formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of business-related commercial and financial topics, including insurance and contractual matters.
