We are seeking a highly skilled Project Cost Controller to join our team at ANDRITZ Hydro Canada. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Track and control project costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures
* Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and senior management
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records in SAP
* Produce project milestone invoices in accordance with project terms and conditions
* Forecast project cash flows and manage foreign currency exposure
* Identify and mitigate project risks, supporting project strategy and decision-making
* Prepare and follow up on change order requests, claims, and bonds

Requirements

* Strong financial management and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
* Strong client liaison and project management skills
* Good understanding of the project or construction industry
* Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems
* Advanced knowledge of Excel, including VLOOKUP and SUMIF formulas
* Knowledge of business-related commercial and financial topics
* Knowledge of insurance and contractual topics is an asset
* Project Management skills are an asset
* Bilingual French/English
