At Mr. Halal Meat, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Butcher Shop Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring the highest quality of meat products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
  • Cut and trim meats to customer specifications
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
  • Remove bones from meat and weigh products for sale
  • Cut poultry into parts and price meat products
  • Sell meats to customers and provide exceptional customer service
  • Grind meats and prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a butcher shop or meat department
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
  • Dependability, flexibility, and initiative
  • Reliability and ability to work as part of a team
Working Conditions

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a cold and refrigerated environment.
