We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Artisan Butcher to join our team at Fortinos. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and effective shopping experience for our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Serve customers from the service meat counter, offering product knowledge and cooking tips to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Recommend and sell meat products using suggestive selling skills, promoting our high-quality products and services.
  • Prepare specialty meat cuts to customer specifications, ensuring quality and cut compliance with our company standards.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, adhering to our company policies and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven exceptional customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Must be a certified meat cutter/butcher with a minimum of 3 years' experience cutting rail beef, veal, pork, and lamb in a retail meat environment.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
