About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Butcher Shop Assistant to join our team at Mr Halal Meat. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
  • Cut and trim meats to customer specifications
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
  • Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale
  • Cut poultry into parts and price meat products
  • Sell meats to customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Grind meats and prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a butcher shop or related field
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
