Economic Account Manager

Capital Economics, a leading provider of economic research, is seeking an experienced Economic Account Manager to join its North American team. Reporting to the NA Account Management Team Lead, this role will be responsible for managing, retaining, and growing a portfolio of Investment Financial Services accounts.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage a portfolio of up to 150 Investment Financial Services accounts
  • Establish and grow relationships with clients through regular interaction and communication
  • Identify growth opportunities across accounts and deliver strong retention
  • Negotiate renewal of subscriptions and mitigate risk across accounts

Requirements



  • Customer service experience with a proven track record in a sales cycle
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Expert listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office and experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)

What We Offer



  • Basic Salary: CAD55,000
  • OTE Commission: CAD30,000
