The Brattle Group is a leading economics consulting firm seeking a skilled Senior Administrator to join our Toronto office. As a critical member of the Business Support Services team, you will provide exceptional project coordination and administrative support to our Principals.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in executive-level administration. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Initiating and coordinating project start forms, conflict checks, engagement letters, and proposals with Principals
  • Managing monthly invoicing and project budgets with Project Managers and/or Associates assigned to cases
  • Overseeing all project files from inception, including contracts and confidentiality agreements, ensuring timely execution and completion
  • Documenting production, including proposals, erratas, subpoenas, affidavits, and testimony, while providing editing and proofreading support as requested
  • Coordinating extensive domestic and international travel for Principals, as well as other team members, to client meetings and marketing opportunities
  • Preparing and submitting expense reports, assisting Principals with expense approvals, and managing their calendars, suggesting ways to maximize their time
  • Working closely with Principals to manage their contacts and coordinate meetings, preparing agendas, creating PowerPoint slides, and attending sessions; providing catering and meeting setup as needed, documenting and distributing action items from practice area meetings to attendees and necessary follow-ups
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with other offices and departments, such as Accounting, Legal, and Marketing, to ensure all project or corporate obligations are met individually and for Principals
  • Providing backup support and coverage for the Office Manager as needed, including liaising with building management for day-to-day facility issues, maintaining relationships with local equipment vendor contacts, assessing needs, and recommending additions to furniture, equipment, or replacement

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a relevant field, and a minimum of three years of executive-level administrative experience, preferably in a professional services environment. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiarity with CRM database software is preferred. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced office environment, handling multiple tasks and demands concurrently, exercising sound judgment, and working independently.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000-$90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
