Job Title: Hotel Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Hotel Assistant to join our team at Holiday Inn Vancouver Centre. This role involves providing exceptional service to guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conveying travelers' luggage by hand or using a hand truck.
  • Assisting passengers as required, including escorting them to their rooms and handling their luggage.
  • Cleaning cabins and making beds to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Performing minor repairs on installations and routine maintenance of audiovisual equipment.
  • Serving food and beverages, setting and clearing tables in dining cars, and addressing customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Providing information regarding hotel features, services, and points of interest.
  • Receiving and delivering items and messages for guests.

Requirements:

  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and walking.
  • Excellent oral communication, flexibility, and teamwork skills.

Work Environment:

The work must be completed at the physical location, with no option to work remotely.
