Occupational Health and Safety Management Instructor

Cape Breton University invites applications for a full-time continuing position of Occupational Health and Safety Management at the rank of Instructor.
This role will involve teaching courses in the Occupational Health and Safety Management Post Baccalaureate Diploma and the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Public Health) program.
The successful candidate will have an appropriate undergraduate degree, a Master's degree in an appropriate field, and a minimum of 5 years of practice within their field of expertise.
Candidates with teaching experience at the post-secondary level and certification such as CPHI, RM, CIH, ROH, ROHT or CRSP are preferred.
The university offers a comprehensive set of liberal arts, science, and professional programs and a unique commitment to community, economic development, aboriginal learning, and research into many aspects of environment and culture.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of occupational health and safety legislation, management, and risk assessment, as well as experience in teaching and curriculum development.
The successful candidate will be expected to enrol in CBU's University Teacher's Program upon hiring.
