Occupational Health and Safety Management Instructor

Cape Breton University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced instructor to teach courses in the Occupational Health and Safety Management Post Baccalaureate Diploma program.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in occupational health and safety legislation, occupational health and safety management, organizational risk management, workplace health and wellness, occupational hygiene, and environmental health risk assessment.
Responsibilities:- Teach courses in the Occupational Health and Safety Management Post Baccalaureate Diploma program
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program goals and objectives
- Master's degree in an appropriate field
- Minimum of 5 years of practice in occupational health and safety
- Teaching experience at the post-secondary level
- Certification such as CPHI, RM, CIH, ROH, ROHT or CRSP
