About the Role

The Sales Coordinator will play a key role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction for Siemens Energy Transformers Canada Inc. in the Grid Technologies Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer technical and commercial specifications to generate tailored proposals and quotes.
  • Support the sales team with customer management, business development, and contract management.
  • Oversee day-to-day activities in a specific territory to maintain and expand the customer base and order intake.
  • Verify accuracy of purchase orders and enter them into the SAP system.
  • Develop and suggest action plans to increase efficiency of the inside sales department.
  • Aggressively follow up on key target projects and open quotes.
  • Support the Sales team in preparing and proposing regional strategies and action plans.
  • Identify market trends, including pricing and competitor behavior.
  • Report as required and conduct win-loss analysis.

Requirements

  • Technician or Engineering degree is desirable.
  • A minimum of 1 year of technical and/or commercial experience in technical sales, inside sales, or marketing.
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills.
  • Fluent in French and advanced English communication skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with external customers and staff.
  • Proficiency using personal computers and software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows.
  • Building relationships, negotiation skills, and results-driven approach.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as required (no more than 5% of the time).
