Health Care Aide

The Health Care Aide is a vital member of our home care team, working under the supervision of the Care Coordinator to provide personal care services to our clients. This role requires a compassionate and caring individual who can assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and enhance the overall quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities- Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare meals and snacks, ensuring a balanced diet and hydration
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Accompany clients on outings, promoting socialization and engagement
- Assist with shopping and errands, helping clients maintain their independence
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Provide ambulation and transportation support, ensuring clients' safety and mobility
- Offer companionship and emotional support, enhancing clients' mental well-being
- Document and chart client progress, maintaining accurate records
- Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student) is an asset
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- Ability to travel around Lower Mainland
- Access to Internet/mobile phone
