Health Care Aide

As a key member of our care team at Aspira Mayfair Terrace Retirement Living, the Health Care Aide plays a vital role in delivering exceptional resident care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Provides medication assistance and care tasks, including blood pressure monitoring, catheter care, and mobility exercises, as delegated or part of routine assistance with daily living.
- Monitors resident well-being and completes all aspects of resident care as outlined in the personal service plan.
- Responds promptly to resident call bells and door alarms, providing courteous service and support.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a Care Aid certificate program.
- Current First Aid/CPR training and experience with medication assistance.
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Successful Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.
