About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Specialist - Employee Experience to join our team at our Montreal head office. As an integral member of our Internal Communications and Employee Experience department, you will play a key role in executing and implementing company-wide internal communications strategies and programs to drive business results and engage all employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Internal Communications Plans: Participate in the development and implementation of internal communications plans to mobilize employees around the company's key business priorities.
  • Design and Produce Communication Tools: Design and produce powerful communication tools (presentations, videos, visual Workplace publications, etc.) that effectively convey messages and engage employees.
  • Write and Edit Communications Materials: Write and edit various memos, announcements, and other documents for internal distribution in English and French.
  • Collaborate with Departments: Team up with various departments/plants for internal communications needs, aligning with the employer brand and employee engagement plan.
  • Monitor the Internal Communications Calendar: Monitor and maintain the internal communications calendar to ensure timely and effective communication of key messages.
  • Propose and Implement Initiatives: Propose and implement initiatives, activities, or events aimed at rallying and mobilizing various stakeholders around communications projects or objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Related Discipline: Possess a Bachelor's degree in communications or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 Years Experience in Internal Communications: Have a minimum of 5 years of experience mainly in internal communications.
  • Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English (fully bilingual).
  • Excellent Consulting and Change Management Skills: Showcase excellent consulting and change management skills to effectively communicate and implement changes within the organization.
  • Strong Writing Skills: Possess strong writing skills and the ability to explain complex subjects in plain language.
  • Able to See the Big Picture: Be able to see the big picture and take cultural considerations into account when drafting and disseminating messages.
  • Multimedia Content Production Knowledge (Graphic Design, Video): Having knowledge of multimedia content production (graphic design, video) is an asset.
