About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at Maple Ridge Carpet One Center 2014 Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality flooring installations for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered and prepare them for installation, including measuring and marking surfaces.
  • Install Flooring: Measure, cut, and install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors to meet customer specifications.
  • Remove Existing Floor Coverings: Safely remove existing floor coverings and contaminants to ensure a smooth installation process.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
Installation Specialization
  • Vinyl or Resilient Tiles: Install vinyl or resilient tiles to meet customer specifications.
  • Hardwood Strip Flooring: Install hardwood strip flooring to meet customer specifications.
  • Hardwood Intricate Patterns Flooring: Install hardwood intricate patterns flooring to meet customer specifications.
  • Carpets/Rugs: Install carpets and rugs to meet customer specifications.

  • Physically Demanding: The role requires physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
