About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at Maple Ridge Carpet One Center 2014 Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, preparing detailed plans and schedules for installation.
  • Measure, cut, and install various types of flooring, including carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors.
  • Prepare floors for installation, removing existing coverings and contaminants as needed.
  • Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the flooring industry.
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks.
