About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Home Hardware. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss their needs, providing expert advice on products and services.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts, and maintain accurate sales records for inventory control.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product information, features, and benefits to provide informed recommendations to customers.
  • Operational Tasks: Operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems, and perform data entry tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail sales experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and have excellent time management and adaptability skills.
