Reservations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Reservations Supervisor to join our team at Comfort Inn-St. Catharines. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of our reservations staff, ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Reservations Staff: Oversee the daily activities of our reservations team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of guest reservations and requests.
- Assist Guests with Special Needs: Provide exceptional customer service to guests with special needs, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Manage Front Desk Operations: Coordinate the front desk team to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes, handle guest inquiries, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Train and Develop Staff: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our reservations staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional guest service.
- Maintain Hotel Systems and Equipment: Ensure the efficient operation of our hotel systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging for repairs and maintenance as needed to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Requisition Materials and Supplies: Procure necessary materials and supplies to maintain a well-stocked front desk and ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Supervision: 3-4 people
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check required
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, large workload, tight deadlines, and work under pressure
- Permanent Full-Time Position: 37.5-44 hours per week
- English Language: Primary language of work
