Plastic Surgeon Opportunity in Nova Scotia

We are seeking a full-time temporary locum plastic surgeon to join our plastic surgery department at South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients within the western zone, including full scope of practice as a plastic surgeon. The physician will be responsible to the Zone Department Head of Surgery for their professional responsibilities and quality of practice, and will operate within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority.
Responsibilities- Provide full scope of practice as a plastic surgeon, including operative and ambulatory clinic time
- Shared office space with existing plastic surgeons in the group
- Shared expenses for overhead and administrative support
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership
- Fellowship in Plastic Surgery, FRCS(C), and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia
