We are seeking a medical oncologist specialist with expertise in treating myeloid malignancies. The successful candidate will join a collaborative care team dedicated to excellence, engaging in clinical, research, administrative, and educational activities.

Candidate Requirements

  • Fellowship standing with the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine is required.
  • A Certificate of Special Competence in hematology or completed hematology residency training is necessary.
  • Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia and meeting BC Cancer's Professional Advisory Committee credentialing requirements is mandatory.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as per TRC (2015) and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019).
  • Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting indigenous communities and familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and anti-racism reports.

Compensation and Benefits

This Fee-for-Service position offers competitive compensation, including a salary estimated to be around $**250,000-$350,000** per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
