Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Chef Manager to lead our dynamic kitchen team at St. John's Fish Exchange Kitchen & Wet Bar.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus, ensuring high-quality dishes and efficient food preparation processes.
  • Spearhead inventory management, controlling costs, and optimizing sales performance.
  • Leverage expert cooking techniques, menu innovation, and staff training to drive culinary excellence.

Maintaining accurate records of food costs, consumption, and sales is crucial. You will analyze operating data for informed decision-making and oversee the activities of specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers. Additionally, you will create new recipes and menu items, instruct cooks in food preparation, and prepare meals for events.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position with significant responsibilities, requiring strong leadership skills, culinary expertise, and strategic thinking. Our ideal candidate will have experience in managing kitchen teams, developing menus, and driving business growth through excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a sous chef or executive chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Proven track record of success in menu development, cost control, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
Benefits
