We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Big Bite Pita. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that will require you to lead our kitchen operations and ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
About the Role:This position reports directly to the Restaurant General Manager and is responsible for managing a team of cooks, preparing menus, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menu plans, ensuring dishes meet high culinary standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage supplies, including ordering and receiving.
- Supervise and train staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Implement health and safety protocols in the kitchen, adhering to local regulations.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as an executive chef or in a similar leadership role.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
- Proven track record of managing budgets and controlling costs.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
