An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Manager to join our team, focusing on our Privately Held Business (PHB) Group. This role involves collaboration with our skilled accounting professionals, engaging in diverse financial reporting and taxation matters, and advising a varied clientele. Our PHB practice is committed to your professional growth, offering continuous development and long-term career advancement.
As a member of the PHB Group at Grant Thornton, you will have the chance to:
- Collaborate with a team of experts providing a comprehensive range of accounting, tax, and financial services to individuals and businesses.

Your responsibilities as a Manager, Privately Held Business Group will include:
- Leading client engagements across various industries, focusing on Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE).
- Contributing to business development by leveraging your expertise and understanding of Grant Thornton's services.
- Taking a leadership role in developing and executing the office's business strategy.
- Maximizing engagement profitability through effective resource management.
- Conducting analysis and reviews of corporate and personal income tax returns, compilations, reviews, and special reports.
- Planning and leading teams to exceed client expectations.
- Supervising and mentoring an accounting team, including file reviews.
- Coaching and developing talented professionals to unlock their potential.

What We Offer:
We provide a competitive compensation package that includes profit sharing, flexible workdays, RRSP contributions, wellness benefits, and the opportunity to work remotely during the summer months. Our current salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $95,000.
