We are seeking an accomplished OTM Application Support Analyst to join our dynamic IT team at Recochem Inc., a global leader in thermal management solutions. As a seasoned expert in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance of our applications and facilitating seamless operations across various business units.

Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will possess a strong background in application support, with expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues. You will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, analyzing application logs and performance metrics, and collaborating with developers and vendors to diagnose and address application-related problems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Application Support and Troubleshooting:
    • Provide expert-level support for complex application issues and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams.
    • Analyze application logs and performance metrics to identify and resolve issues promptly.
    • Collaborate with developers and vendors to diagnose and address application-related problems.
  • Incident Management:
    • Manage and prioritize incident tickets, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
    • Coordinate with other IT teams and departments to ensure effective incident management and communication.
  • System Maintenance and Upgrades:
    • Oversee routine maintenance, patches, and upgrades for applications to ensure stability and security.
    • Plan and execute application deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
    • Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
    • Implement and manage performance tuning strategies to improve application efficiency.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for application support processes, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge bases.
    • Prepare and present reports on application performance, incidents, and support activities to management.
  • User Support and Training:
    • Provide expert guidance and support to end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving complex user issues.
    • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to enhance user knowledge and application proficiency.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead and participate in application-related projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and new implementations.
    • Collaborate with project teams to define requirements, scope, and deliverables for application projects.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance application support efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to apply innovative solutions and technologies.
