Job Summary:

The Open Order Resolution Associate is responsible for resolving assigned duties, including credit card declines and maintaining/updating open customer orders or credit card declines and rejections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and resolve open stock, third-party, sourcing, and rejected orders to understand root cause and determine appropriate action.
  • Report long-term systemic issues within own department to the appropriate teams.
  • Assist internal customers with time-sensitive Sales Order and/or Purchase Order related questions.
  • Utilize best demonstrated practices and continuously improve standard work practices.
  • Maintain adherence to schedules, follow all SOP, and quality standards as it pertains to associated reports.
  • Be self-directed, take responsibility to complete daily tasks, and make sound decisions for both the customer and the company without direct instruction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of Customer Service and/or Supply Chain Experience.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with customers, internal partners, and team members.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes and prioritize multiple tasks at once.
  • Professional attitude in complex and stressful situations and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Able to navigate through multiple channels, including SAP, SOE, Grainger.ca, MS Office Suites, and SharePoint.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision within specified timeframes.
  • English and French required as the role supports and interacts with team members from all Canadian provinces.
