Job Title: Data Network Support Specialist

This contract position is based in our Concord, GTA, Ontario location. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to multitask on various projects, and possess exceptional organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide post-sales technical support for RuggedCom product suite.
  • Work closely with Sales, Technical Support, Engineering, and internal groups to expedite customer resolution.
  • Utilize telephone and remote isolation, diagnostic, and resolution tools to resolve complex issues.
  • Log and track cases in the Trouble Reporting System.
  • Perform support lab management functions, including managing lab networking components and scripting/coding application tools.

Requirements:

  • New graduate from a Bachelor/Masters/Diploma in Computer Engineering with a focus on Data Networking.
  • Completed a minimum of one Co-op in the related field.
  • Above-average study performance (Accumulative average > 2.5 (B-)).
  • Working knowledge of configuring, implementing, testing, and designing Data networking technologies, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, OSPF, BGP, RIP, Network Security, Firewalls, IDS, and SSL/TLS.
