Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Supervisor to join our team at Canamex-Carbra Transportation Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of our transportation team, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to team members
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure deadlines are met
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as needed
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Handling heavy loads and working in a warehouse environment
