Job Summary:

The Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of our transportation team, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and services. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of the transportation team
  • Prepare and submit reports on transportation activities and performance
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work on vehicles and equipment
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to team members
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
  • Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in transportation or logistics
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Windows skills
Work Environment:

The Transportation Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to handle heavy loads.
