Job Summary:

The Transportation Operations Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of our transportation team, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on company vehicles and equipment
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Reliability and flexibility
Work Environment:

The Transportation Operations Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of transportation professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and safety.
