Lantic Inc., a leading company in the natural sweetener solutions industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Internal Communications and Employee Engagement Specialist.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing and implementing company-wide internal communications strategies and programs to drive business results and engage all employees. You will help implement new communications processes and guide communications at all organizational levels in collaboration with executives, business lines, divisions, and functions.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English (fully bilingual) and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in internal communications. You will also have strong consulting and change management skills, the ability to explain complex subjects in plain language, and experience working in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment with tight deadlines.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including $60,000 - $80,000 per year, comprehensive benefits, employee share purchase plan, opportunities for career pathing and personal growth, and a wellness-focused flexible work environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Participating in the development and implementation of internal communications plans to mobilize employees around the company's key business priorities;
- Planning and organizing various events and employee meetings, including all related communications, logistics, and coordination;
- Designing and producing powerful communication tools (presentations, videos, visual Workplace publications, etc.) for a diverse audience in our various plants;
- Writing and editing various memos, announcements, and other documents for internal distribution in English and French;
- Team up with various departments/plants for internal communications needs, aligning with the employer brand and employee engagement plan;
- Monitoring the internal communications calendar;
- Proposing and implementing initiatives, activities, or events aimed at rallying and mobilizing various stakeholders around communications projects or objectives.
