Post Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Post Office Assistant to join our team at Canada Post Corp. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Customer Service: Sell postal products and services to businesses and individuals, providing expert advice and guidance to meet their needs.
- Mail and Package Processing: Sort, distribute, and process mail and packages into appropriate classifications, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Customer Support: Provide assistance and support to customers with delivery and service issues, resolving problems quickly and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory of postal products and services, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on business administration or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and sales performance.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift mail containers of up to 50 pounds, push or pull boxes, and stand for extended periods of time.
